I graduated from CSU, Chico in 2009 with my BA in Psychology and Minor in Child Development. I couldn't get in to the impacted nursing program at Chico State, so I switched to another interest and I don't regret finishing in Psychology - I learned so much. I loved it and still do. I continued to pursue nursing and attended Butte College in 2010, graduating with an ADN in May of 2012. I love northern California and would love to continue living and working here. I grew up in the Sacramento area but spent 7 years in Chico, so I know it well. There are so many interesting areas of nursing. I have a special interest in Mental Health and Women's Health, and I hope to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner one day. I love helping people in need, and learning about cognition and behavior and their impact on physical health. In my free time, I like hiking, swimming, reading, history, music, arts, travel, learning, being with family, and my cats. I am a huge animal and nature lover.
